About US
Elizabeth Schneider-Owner
|
Elizabeth was born and raised in Calvert County and has enjoyed so much of what Southern Maryland has to offer from trail rides on the beach to close proximity to top show venues, she is thrilled to be back home. Elizabeth has extensive experience working with young horses, re-training problem horses, and developing dressage horses. She approaches teaching the same way she does training; she works with riders to instill the basics and helps them understand the why of the work so that they can learn to approach each new challenge from a place of understanding. Elizabeth has her USDF bronze medal with scores towards her silver medal which she is looking forward to completing soon, she has developed her homebred mare though PSG and is looking forward to working towards her gold. She has worked for Jessica Jo Tate and Bruce Griffin, ridden in and audited clinics with Charles De Kunffy, Gary Rockwell, and many other world renowned clinicians. She continues her education with top riders Olympic medalist Allison Brock and American team member Olivia LaGoy Weltz as often as possible to continue to learn and grow as a rider, trainer, and instructor. She enjoys everything about training and working with horses and riders, it is a great joy to watch someone click and find their passion in learning about horses. Jimmy brings a tireless work ethic to the farm along with his love of animals. He has become capable handling and working with horses of all ages on the ground, though he prefers not to ride. Jimmy is an irreplaceable asset to the farm who helps in feeding and basic care as well as maintaining the farm and working on a never ending list of improvements. He often grooms and assists both at home and at shows.
